DATA
FILES
Content
As with the databases used on the main Tour-Tips site, these files cover
all the primary Tours since 1996, numbering over 7,000 events and
nearly 3 million rounds of golf. As well as offering the user the ability
to view the data directly rather than merely view pre-selected
data/queries, the primary differences between these data files and
those on the main Tour-Tips site are:
- Individual round statistics (e.g. driving distance, greens in regulation,
scrambling, putts per GIR, Par-3 scoring, Par-4
scoring, etc.) rather than tournament average statistics on following
Tours:
PGA Tour, plus WGC events (2004 onwards)
DP World Tour, including co-sanctioned events (1999
onwards)
Champions Tour (2005 onwards)
LPGA Tour (2011 onwards)
Korn Ferry Tour (2005 onwards)
Australasian Tour (2000 onwards)
Japan Tour (2004 onwards)
Southern Africa Tour (2009 onwards)
Asian PGA Tour (2009 onwards)
Ladies European Tour (2007 onwards)
- Individual round Strokes Gained statistics rather than tournament average statistics on following
Tours:
PGA Tour, plus WGC events (2004 onwards)
DP World Tour (2017 onwards)
- Player scorecard data that includes every player's score on each hole,
each hole's par and yardage, and the average score on that hole in each
round. This is available for each event (including multiple-course
events) on the following Tours:
PGA Tour, plus WGC events (2001 onwards)
DP World Tour, including co-sanctioned events (1999
onwards)
Champions Tour (2005 onwards)
LPGA Tour (2004 onwards)
Korn Ferry Tour (2005 onwards)
Australasian Tour (2009 onwards)
Japan Tour (2004 onwards)
Southern Africa Tour (2009 onwards)
Asian PGA Tour (2006 onwards)
European Challenge Tour (2010 onwards)
European Legends Tour (2010 onwards)
Ladies European Tour (2007 onwards)
- Bi-hourly weather data (including temperature, wind speed, weather
conditions, etc.) for every round in each PGA, DP World, Champions
and LPGA Tour event since 2001.
- Results from non-Tour events such as Q-Schools on the four main Tours
and the end of year events such as the Hero World Challenge and QBE
Shootout.

WEEKLY
FORMSHEETS
Content
These formsheets are best viewed as detailed alternatives (or even
complements) to the Event Stats tables on the main Tour-Tips site. As
such, they are Excel spreadsheets which display relevant statistical
information about each player for any particular event. A standard
template would include:
- A one-page display of current and course form for each player,
consisting of a summary of each player's finishing positions over the
last three months broken down by week and clearly marked to indicate the
event/Tour and the player's finishing positions on that particular
course and in that event, if different, since 1996.
- A summary of each player's ranking in the key statistical categories
(e.g. driving distance, greens in regulation, strokes gained categories,
etc.) on the Tour of interest
as well that player's ranking on the Official World Rankings.
- A one-page display of a player's finishing positions on other Tours
over the last three months so the user has a complete record of each
player's recent performances rather than on the main PGA and DP World
Tours.
- The summary pages (current form, course form and stats rankings) from
the weekly formsheet produced for each of the last 10 stagings of the event
or occasions that the course has been used since 1996. This enables to user
to see the information that was available at the time of the previous
events.
- Detailed results and stats in separate worksheets for the last 15 stagings of the
event since 1996 or occasions that the course has been used
since 1996. This information would include leaderboard results, the
player's position after each round and, where available, their ranking
in that tournament in terms of the key statistical categories (e.g.
driving distance, greens in regulation, strokes gained categories, etc.).
The above is only a standard template. There is the ability to customise
these formsheets to the user's preferences in terms of results/stats to
be displayed. There is no shortage of golf stats (see information on the
left re: database content), so it is merely a
matter of deciding how best it should be displayed to make golf
tournament
analysis easier. Contact
Stanley@tour-tips.com to arrange how these formsheets could be best
customised to your own preferences.
Delivery
The weekly formsheets are not made available for download as the aim is
to provide a customised product to each user. As a result, these
formsheets are sent out via email by 10:30am UK
time each Monday.

download here.
Subscription Prices
There is the ability to subscribe to the formsheets on a weekly basis via the
online payment page for any of that week's events.
Weekly Price:
For each week: £4 for the 1st event formsheet; £3 for the 2nd event
formsheet; and £2 for each subsequent event formsheets.
Yearly Price
However, there is 20% discount for longer-term subscriptions to the
formsheets. Please use the Excel file here for details of the cost for 2024
(see cell G57 for the total price). If a formsheet is not needed for any
event, just delete the event(s) from the lists in columns B-D and the price
in cell G57 will adjust accordingly. Similarly, for any additional
formsheets, just add them to an empty cell for that week and the price will
adjust. Contact
Stanley@tour-tips.com for
details of other payment or invoicing methods for this service.
